I'll have work in "Adornment", at Cygnus Gallery in LaConner, Washington. The exhibition opens on Friday, December 4, with an opening from 6 to 9 pm. Cygnus is located at the end of the main street in town, across from Maple Hall.
My work, 'The Re-education of Smedley Butler' was accpted for the "Materials: Hard and Soft" craft exhibition at the Denton Council for the Arts in Denton, Texas. This exhibition is one of main annual craft competitions in North America. The juror this year was Jo Lauria, currently the chief curator of the exhibition 'CRAFT IN AMERICA: Expanding Traditions', the companion exhibition to the PBS documentary, "CRAFT IN AMERICA: Memory, Landscape, and Community". The exhibition runs - February 6 - April 1, 2010
